In all seriousness I think a soccer team in this city could do fantastic. Â I'd love to own it... but i don't have the money yet. Â If there's still not one in 3 or 4 years I may have a go. Â The Hispanic population in this city is perfect for a soccer team. Â They would jump behind the opportunity ...

they said the soccer locker rooms are in the new building...how far is that from the soccer stadium? This building and the Sokol arena will be directly north of the stadium. They will practically touch. Awesome... I think this might be one of the sticking points on Omaha getting a Minor League Soc...

UNO Maverick Basketball 2007-2008
Both teams off to great starts, the Men are 6-0 and ranked #22 and the Women are 7-1.

Fischer almost was as impressive as a Mustang QB in the playoffs a few years back. 2nd most impressive preformance I've ever seen. #1 being John McCardle's 55 carries for 255 yards and 5 TDs against North Platte in the semis in 2002. Okay I checked that on NSAA site... it's even more impressive than...

I was at the game... it was a great atmosphere. Â Xavier really wanted this. Creighton stayed in it early due to some great shooting, but Drew Lavender is an absolute beast of a small player and went off. Â Creighton couldn't stop him in the first half. Â No one could pick him up when he broke the p...

I gotta agree with Zorinsky being on the list. Â It's huge, it's got everything a park should have. Â As far as UNO, love the pedestrian walkway being on it, if all goes well in the future it will look even better. Â They want three parking garages (2nd is being built now) and very little surface p...

Flags for Football Games
So, UNO doesn't have any flags with letters on them (that I know of... should probably double check), and I think that's ridiculous. Â We have the team run out on to the field, but it'd be better to lead them out with a U-N-O flag set... Â We're gonna be playing on National TV on November 1st and I'...

Full tuition scholarships are out there... full rides are virtually non-existent... at least at decent schools. UNL won't even give a full ride (unless you want to study in the JD Edwards program which is very narrow I.T. w/ focus in business)... best we can hope for is full tuition plus $2k a yea...

Yea, 36 isn't a free admit or anything. Â My friend Nic got a 36, had a 4.0 GPA, good activities and he was denied a few places. Â He ended up going to St. Louis. U, but it's not like they are paying his way either. Â It's a huge thing and it will help a ton, but in this ultracompetitive college wor...

I don't think the funding is secure yet, hence why you haven't seen any big announcements... but this is what they want to do. It seems a little far from north campus, but I think it will work.. Â They better get their |expletive| together if they shuttle down to here though, especially with Aksarbe...

UNO Center St. Campus Development
Didn't see any threads regarding this development specifically. Â Details have not been out much, just that they wanted to build down here. Â Saw some of these images a few weeks ago while meeting with the UNO AD, but hadn't seen them on the web yet. http://www.unomaha.edu/building/center/index.php ...
