I think part of the problem of the appeal of Omaha is that it is in fact a good place to live, but barely decent to visit. We could use a few more tourist traps. Big useless eyesores to draw in more people.

My grandfolks had dual-citizenship for a while. They'd live in a cottage up in Nova Scotia during the summer and winter in New Mexico. Then RV from New to New somewhere inbetween.
