Activity is picking up a bit in the old steel plant. There is some light construction equipment on site and it looks like they are cleaning out any unusable scrap and junk.

I just took my two girls for lunch today. The Saturday lunch special is a cheeseburger and fries for 6.99. Our bill for 3 specials, 2 sodas, and a beer was about 26 bucks. For this price it is easily one of the best smash burgers in town. The fries were not that great but I certainly won't complain ...

I talked with someone who is well connected that said that a stadium for Union Omaha is pretty much a done deal. He said that it is most likely going downtown but that midtown was also an option.

The hardware store on 40th and Cuming fits the bill. Also, they are my go to place to get random odds and ends for old home repairs. Absolutely love the place.

I live a block and a half away and have been about 10 times. The wings and pizza were really the only things on the menu that were even remotely good. Everything else was pretty close to plain bad that we tried. Not surprised about this closing.

I have heard there will be a patient tower and an office building. No specifics on the buildings. But I'd be surprised if anything was taller than Buffet. Considering the proposed price tag, not that height is everything, I will be extremely disappointed if whatever is built is not taller than Buff...

There are automated station announcements as well as monitors that show how many minutes to the next several stations.

I live in Dundee and had some out of town contractors on the block saying that they were going to install new Centurylink cables in the next several months. That was in July. Nothing has happened since then.

I think that the mural is great. While I don't think that it is some sort of amazing piece, I do believe that more murals make for a more interesting street-scape. Law suits? Really? I think that this is the fourth interesting mural in Benson. More art please!

It is very well done and is one of the nicest comic book stores that I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot of them.
