J Joe Ricketts buys a new home...

From the NYT, in regards to the Time Warner Center... Last month, J. Joe Ricketts, the founder of Ameritrade, the online stock brokerage company, paid $29.2 million for the 78th floor of the north tower. The deed for the apartment was filed with the city on March 31. You are not understanding what I am saying... start planning in 2010, then you will have 5 years to plan, putting you in 2015, allowing for 5 years of construction, 2020 you have your new terminal.

Plan for the future, exactly what I said, if we start planning in 2010, that should give us a solid 5 years of planning and 5 years of construction. I wouldn't consider having 4 SWA planes parked at gates a good use of gates... they could just as easily park their planes elsewhere like Delta and Con...

If AF really has someone willing to relocate downtown and bring 1500+ jobs I am willing to bet that b/w the Chamber Foundation, the City and the State we could come up with a slew of sites downtown and give them to AF to build there building. I am going to have to pull the hogwash card too.
