Ernie's lawsuit

What is wrong with this forum that no one is even discussing the pros/cons of his lawsuit against God? The national news and almost every forum I read have views on it, but no one here even posts about it. How lame is that? This man is quoted/ misquoted all over the nation, but our forum just ignore...

Loud explosion?

Anyone else hear that very loud explosion about half an hour ago? Ch. 6 is saying no one seems to know what caused it. Any news on it?

Thanks for trying to help. bubba, but that link just takes me to the same page as always. The scanner doesn't open. I don't understand why the Sun says it has a link, if it never works. Most other cities have links that do work.

Omaha Police Scanner online/Mac?

I know there is a link for the OPD scanner on the Sun newspaper site, but it doesn't work on my Mac. Anyone have a different link that would work for Macs? TIA

Thanks for the information, Uffda and Big El! I did go through those steps in setting up AirPort Extreme with the Apple Care people over the phone. He didn't mention anything about the fact that it meant no one else could use the signal ( or whatever it is called). I feel much more confident about i...

Hope they don't close the one at VP. That is a really nice store.  But when I was in there the other day, they said all the clearance was now 50% of the clearance price. No one was shopping in there that day.

I'm not computer-savy, do please excuse me if this is a dumb question?

I have a Mac and just started using AirPort Extreme. It doesn't use a router. I do have file sharing turned off. Can my neighbors use my connection to Cox? How do I find out? Am I secure? TIA

Bailey's, a new restaurant at 120th and Pacific

Bailey's, a new restaurant at 120th and Pacific Greg Lindberg of Absolutely Fresh Seafood has purchased the former Cafe Cafe at 1259 S. 120th. His newsletter says the new restaurant will be called Bailey's, and Jon Dye will be the chef. It will be casual and open for  breakfast and lunch.  It is no...

Cox is holding an on-line survey to gage customers' opinions about this. I got a notice today about it, and it was also mentioned in their Feb. newsletter. They say the channels they have now are not being used enough and want to use some for HD. etc.

There used to be a business in Omaha called Shopping Made Easy. You could order your groceries on line and they would shop and bag it. Then you just had to drive up to their terminal at 124 and Q, and they would put it all in your trunk. They had another terminal somewhere else in the city. They wen...

Thanks for that info and link! I was able to see that the woods behind the home I grew up in are still there. I guess I always assumed that they had been cut down and the area developed.

ALDI (132nd and Center)

Got an ad/coupon from a business named ALDI today. It says it is located at 132nd & Center. It looks like a discount grocery store. It is a national company. Anyone have any experiences with this company?

Bakers at Deerfield needs major work. At least half of the time I go in there, it smells of spoiled food. Lots of "manager specials" trying to get rid of things that have been affected too, in my opinion. Really a shame. They have really given up on this location.
