Re: Blondo Point (209th & Blondo)
The City of Omaha/Douglas County Should Continue Blondo Street and Connect Skyline (Grid Pattern) I've wondered why they don't connect west of 204th with the Blondo street that's back there. This whole area they want to develop is kind of buried and doesn't seem to have great access. But it seems l...

Re: Packaged Foods Discussion (Frozen, Canned, Shelf Stable, etc.)
So, the healthy choice steamers have been some of my go to frozen dinners, particularly the steak and potatoes one. I always got it the most of them all because it has the most calories, so better bang for the buck. It never did have a TON of sodium (I want to say it was 600-something mg), but I lo...

Almost 18 years!
Not sure why I have never posted when this is released each year since I always keep an eye out for it and will occasionally mention it throughout the year. I might have to make this thread about the yearly NDOT MTM, MAPA TIP, and Omaha CIP releases.

Apparently, the rumor going around the wifes gossip Facebook pages is that they are shooting for a July grand opening. It looks like they have quite a bit of work to do before then, but as was mentioned before, there is not much to these warehouse buildings. I thought it wasn't supposed to be open ...

Now with February coming to an end, we had some warm weather most this month. We only had one single day with a high below freezing, which is crazy. And only five days below 40. In fact, more than half the month was over 50.

I've always felt that Dodge should've been 7 lanes (3 east, 3 west and a center turn lane) from downtown or midtown to 72nd. However, most folks on here disagreed with me. I remember a proposal many years ago to widen this section to 6 or possibly even 8 lanes. The idea was to expand it to the sout...

I don't think a tunnel is fiscally feasible. I lived down there in a condo for a few years and would occasionally walk the neighborhood north of there, but yeah, I did mostly stay south of Dodge because it wasn't great to cross. I think a pedestrian bridge over 31st St and Dodge connecting Turner Pa...
