Great examples. I'm wondering, is there anything in our city laws or building codes that prevent a permanent structure from being built under the interstate? I'm guessing NDOR is the main stopping factor. They probably like having easy access for maintenance. But it would be awesome if it was done....

I note that of all Midwest metros, Des Moines is absolutely killing it. They are growing by way more actual people per year than Omaha, and at about a 40% faster growth rate than Omaha. Living in Gretna I do a fair amount DT (MT) in Omaha but I have to say I never saw a movie here. That is a factor of other closer options and not seeing many movies in the theater. That being said I hate to see this go and think this will be a bigger loss to the focus of the development than a rest...

168th Center to Q is needing this just as bad. Are there plans for this? I can't imagine the city putting a new bridge across Zorinsky. Some roads should just stay 2 lanes. They do need stop lights at the entrances to the park on both sides of the bridge. Yes, the plans are to do it in 2018-2019. H...
