Re: Tenth Street Market

Downtown Omaha is teetering on the brink of being a total food desert, with no relief in sight for years (if a downtown Hy-Vee that we all hope for even comes to fruition). Tell me why anyone would want to live in a downtown with zero walkability? The closest grocery store is what, Wohlner's in MTC...

Re: Toyota looking to build new US plant

Would Nebraska have the labor pool to staff a 1-2,000 employee car factory? Given the easy drive from Illinois and the economic collapse building there, I could see a big "No Problem!" line of UHauls heading west on I80. Given the situation with Cabela's, I'm sure it'd be a godsend for Si...

Not long ago the World-Herald completely dropped their TV listings from all daily editions of the newspaper. You either had to buy a copy of the Sunday paper or you were S.O.L. For the entire week. Apparently enough people complained that they have brought the TV listings back, but they are buried ...

Honestly, I like this one more than what was proposed downtown. I even showed it to my boyfriend in Boston and he really liked it. Assuming that they still keep with some kind of retail on the bottom (or am I making that up), it'll be even better. I like designs that modify simple shapes, like havin...
