This is a White House issue, unless Nebraska can live without federal highway money, which is tied to having a drinking age of 21 in the state.

There is no doubt Berkshire has a lot to do with the incredible wealth in Omaha and its companies NFM and Borsheim's are Omaha institutions- however we hardly "revolve" around Berkshire. Â We are lucky enough to have alot of very large employers in town, ConAgra, UP, First Data, etc.

Coming from the West Coast, you might be surprised that you don't need to send your kids to private schools for them to get a great education. Location, location, location. The 3 rules of real estate. Brandeis doesn't have it compared to Paxton, JLofts or Wallstreet Towers. That needs to be factored into the prices, and its not.

I'm not complaining at all. Frankly, I don't really care much that this element is on 16th Street. However, you can't expect 16th Street to develop into a retail/restaurant district unless things change.
