Has there been any indication of how many square feet Mutual is looking for? When they announced in 2018 that they were studying options for a new building, they indicated they would need at least 1.1 million square feet. Is that still the case?

That rendering was released to employees several months ago. That must be the intended design. I think they will tear down Clarkson tower to build this.

I have also wondered if there could be any overlap in these rumors. How many employers in Omaha have 2k employees and are looking to relocate? Unless this is going to have room for 2k employees in a multi-tenant configuration.

For those keeping track at home, this would now be three projects either proposed or under construction in DT Lincoln of roughly 150' height or greater (this one; Lied Place; apartment proposal for Journal Star offices at 10th and P).

Looks like a possible student housing project. My guess is it is about 150' tall. Two residential high rises will be under construction within 3 blocks. The skyline is a changin'.

Some speculation in the article about a possible convention center hotel. That wouldn't surprise me but I also assumed the post office property would make a better site for a convention center than this property.
