One thing to note: The Friday night shows have moved to the parking log of Downtown Blues, and are called "Pre-parties". The Saturday night shows remain on the riverfront. Lineups have also changed a bit. Check out details at http://www.playingwithfireomaha.com/

I can see that in Southern California, where the only hazards they have to worry about are the occasional earthquake. And I can see where that would be a good building in an earthquake prone area. But something as light as an all graphite structure in our wind? Snow? Sideways rain? Tornados?

The state wrestling tourney is a HUGE deal. It's well attended. Frankly, I didn't even know there was a state high school baseball tourney.

This wrestling meet is a pretty cool environment, as is high school wrestling in general. A good swap, IMO.

This kid's fun to watch. He's not big like many jumpers, and he just explodes off the board. The Huskers have recruited him, they're considering db, wide receiver, and ... punt returning. Long Time High School Record Broken

The longest standing Nebraska High School track and field record was broken last week. Robert Rands of Bellevue East broke Gale Sayers Long Jump record of 24-10 1/2 by jumping 25'-1/2". For those who may not be familiar with Gale Sayers, he went on to play college ball for Kansas, then became o...
