I think they all blew it. The Sunday into Monday doom and gloom didn't happen. Schools should have been in session Monday, and many businesses closed unnecessary.

I don't know if Julios closed because of the food or other things. Cutchall Management has been downsizing since Greg's passing. I don't know if they still do it, but years ago my sister and her family would go on I think it was Tuesdays for Kids Eat Free night. The place was packed. She had 3 kids to feed, so it was a good value for them. I'd take Applebee's over Red Robin or Chili's. And thats no compliment to Applebee's.

While on Ames today, I noticed that Jims is closed. There are yellow danger / closed signs on the front windows. Their website is gone, and Google lists them as Permanently Closed.

Anyone else remember the days driving a few blocks to save a couple cents? On my trip to UNO I'd swap between the Amoco on 50th & Dodge and the M & N on 40th.

I watched a YouTube video saying we may see closer to $5 by end of September depending on the hurricane seas.

I'm more apt to judge them for not mowing their lawn and cultivating a dandelion farm that spreads into everyone's yard than the Trump, Biden, Pride or choose life things that they display.
