Re: Nebraska Crossing Village District
trenton from Grow Omaha was on KFAB this morning. He was talking about this project. He mentioned Drew Brees was a partner in this development. He also said a Margaritaville Hotel was part of these plans. I feel a little confident now that they have Good Life funding. Interesting. I do see a Margar...

Re: Omaha Eppley Airfield
My point about an airport between Omaha & Lincoln was simply that Eppley is pretty landlocked. An airport between the two cities could have acquired twice or more the area of Eppley. In addition, It could have spurred a ton of development around it, including larger industrial users. Yes, relat...

Also, Harrah's owns the former Westwood Golf Course just south of the Dodge Park Course. I'm sure it could be added to the site for the right price!

So council bluffs is settling for the Baxter plan, 7 stories for the tower site. Disappointed but I get it. It's about 200 apartments, so it's sa good number of units added to the riverfront. Public discussion is scheduled for the 24th. Lots b, d, and e will be developed by Broadmoor, townhome styl...

There are at least a dozen Bald Eagles at Lake Manawa today. Not sure how much longer this ice will hold on though. with a couple warm days and wind it might disappear. After spending more time there, probably closer to two dozen. None at Dodge Park. Yeah, I counted at least 20 there this afternoon.
