Does anyone know what other ones are closing? They are closing all the Minnesota ones. Does anyone know if the Sioux Falls one is staying open or closing?

Dillards closing at crossroads

Not sure if anyone posted this yet, but looks like another blow to crossroads. What is the other development, Beverly Hills Plaza they are talking about?

Yeah, and  on the loopnet site plan for Marketplace it lists small shops as CJ Banks, Debs, and Christopher Banks. And with Metro crossing getting a Famous Footwear, I can't imagine too many of these small shops will stay open in the mall either. I think we can't count down the days the mall has le...

Originally, I had heard that it was going to be on Broadway, where the old Omaha Standard building was. I don't make much stock in that though. I would be willing to guess it goes into the Marketplace. There site plan has space for what would be a small Lowe's on the opposite side as J.C. Penny. And...

Yes Brad, usually a couple things happen. If a developer is opening more than one center, even if they aren't in the same town, they will offer a store a deal on rent if they agree to open in these shopping centers. Another thing that happens is Companies use a real estate adviser to help them out. ...

Does anyone know when the projected opening of the center is? Isn't there a Petsmart at Oakview? I wonder if that location will be closing? This will be a major blow to the center st. corridor, pulling Michaels, Sports Authority, Office Max, Target and Petsmart off of Center![/b]

This should be interesting to see what other national tenants go in, considering that most of them are in the Center St. / Oakview Corridor. Maybe some like a Borders, or Bed Bath and Beyond, or Petsmart wouldn't be too far out of the question I guess. I can't wait to hear some announcements!

Wow, this will be interesting to hear. I'm guessing Lowe's as the tenant. Kohl's average store size is 88,000, and I think going into Council Bluffs would want to go with a little smaller then average store. So I doubt its them. I wonder if this will spark an official announcement for some of the re...

Kinda disappointing if you ask me. You would think Seldin would try to come up with something better to compete with Sorensen Park, and the Crown Point Shops. There is so much opportunity there.
