It does seem like a poor decision to build two of these things within a block of one another.

Ah, our big new skyscraper downtown.  But 2011?  That's a completion date right? That's almost as far off as when they want to return to the moon.  Do you think either one will happen??

Nebraska won a regional held at the Qwest Center before they ultimately lost to a senior laden Washington team in the national championship match in San Antonio.

Nebraska is 30-1 and in case anyone didn't realize it, ranked #1 in the country since the preseason.  If Minnesota doesn't upset them, they will be very tough to beat at the Qwest Center, in front of the largest crowds college volleyball has ever seen.

Nebraska will face Minnesota, a team it already beat 3 games to 1 earlier this year.

Wasn't Creighton preseason ranked in the top 10 by some?  Who would have guessed that the rest of the Valley would leave them in the dust?

If OU can win against one of our rivals, A&M, then OU can win against another one of its rivals, when there will be only 60,000 of them present. Relax Eagle, OU is favored and most Nebraska fans recognize that their team is the underdog.  That said, I'm sure it will be probably be an entertain...

I think you're right, although that doesn't change the fact that OU fans are going to be greatly outnumbered at this game.  That said, Nebraska needs all the help it can get.

Let's see, this year Nebraska became one of only 4 teams in division 1-A football to reach 800 lifetime wins.  The other 3 teams?  Texas, Notre Dame, and Michigan.  Pretty good company there, but who's missing?

Actually, OU has won 7 national titles to NU's 5.  Impressive when you consider that's two more titles than CU has even won in all sports.  :P
