I believe the Cordish group owns several brands, and if you look at their other projects ( The Walk at Atlantic City, Baltimore project,etc.,etc.) you'll have a good idea of the stores they'll have; Coach, Nike, Polo.... Agree with Hoops, the SOPO West location will draw more attention from retailer...

I wasn't saying those locations were any closer, I just didn't see how Bellevue or Downtown were- as you had said. I was misinformed about the Bellevue and the infrastructure (so all those proposed roads and sewer around the stadium are already there? Most of Southports roads and sewers are there), ...

I'm probably gonna get blasted for this, but I don't care.... The Southport location IS THE ONLY LOCATION!!! YES, they announced the three locations but that's just window dressing. The Bellevue location is to satisfy the County Board member from Bellevue, the Papillion location is a joke- if they w...

I agree that they are mostly in larger cities, maybe not a great fit for the market- maybe when it becomes a BOOMING metroplis  :;): , but I still don't consider that area suburban. I guess I think of Shadow Lake and Village Point as suburban. This isn't urban, but it's not really suburban in my op...

Have you ever been out by Southport? It's not a strip mall and most suburbs don't have a major interstate that exits out into it. And lets not kid ourselves, this is not a BOOMING metropolis, the difference between urban and suburban around he is not that great and far apart. O! is growing and headi...

An ice rink wouldn't be good just for the Lancers, although I would be a season ticket holder (again) if they moved back, but also for area ice time. It's my understanding that there is very little available in the metro (and that includes Fremont's rink). That's why I think a Ice Rink would be a go...

All the rumblin' I hear is that they want RETAIL out at Southport instead of a ballpark, now there's supposed to be office buildings going where the ballpark was purposed? How much more frickin' money will that bring in over a ballpark? I know/ feel that Southport would be the ideal spot for the Bal...

New Business in Downtown Papillion
I am a little surprised by this one, but I saw that Dr. Jack's Tattoo and Piercing was going into the old Mr. Goodcents/ Curves location in Papillion. On 84th St., directly south of the bridge - across from the park (east side of 84th). Seems like an odd fit for the area, and also being about 200 ya...

They'll pull through the first football season- March 2010. But, I hope they have some luck where others have failed. Although, this doesn't sound like another Husker themed place. Yes, it'll pay tribute to the Huskers, but it says in the description that it will pay tribute to ALL teams (that have ...

That would figure!!!! That Papio Target SUX!!!!!!!! I swear that every time they carry something I truly enjoy (Einstein's for example) after about 6 months they dump it or swap it with Archer Farm cr@p. I can still get the products at other Target locations, but for some reason they don't carry it ...

Re: Chain Restaurant Closings
I wonder what that means for the Bennigan's that was supposed to go in Papillion's Market Point. Since they haven't broke ground anywhere, I'd say that it probably won't happen- too bad, that area has been lacking some nice sit down places for a LONG time. At least were seeing a little more with Sha...

Alright, can someone explain to me why we don't have them in Omaha anymore. I know there's a couple in Lincoln (I stop at the one right off I-80 whenever I go by) and there used to be some in Omaha, but what happened- why'd they split? And will they ever come back? Shadow Lake!!!! (please) I was jus...

I'm sure that the blue prints of the pool lay out will be published sometime this week (maybe in the La Vista Sun). But the new plan is a little smaller (better in my opinion). The Shallow play area, lap lanes and diving area are all connected now. The lazy river is about half the size and there are...

Downtown River Front Project
If Omaha wants to do the river front project right- they need to come up to La Crosse, WI and take a look at the downtown area. I'm currently in La Crosse for a couple days and it is amazing!! Beautiful, lots of bars and restaurants! Really a great place. Wonderful river walk along the Mississippi. ...

Anyone know what's being built there?
I heard a Walgreens, but don't know for sure.

What about building at Southport? On the west side of Cabela's (on the land between that road behind Cabela's and the interstate). You've got hotels, interstate access, movie theater and SOMEDAY some restaurants and retail. Â I know this idea has been thrown around before, but I think that the Lanc...

I've heard from a couple different sources; it's a go, but until there's an official announcement then I wouldn't count on it. Rumor is that it will be a Douglas theater, but that's too close to Twin Creek- so I just can't believe it yet. There was to be a Douglas theater at Cabela's area and then c...

Re: Eating Establisment Closes @ 96th & Giles
"Looks like another casualty of the saturated dining market." This was not a case of over saturation of the dining market. It was in a bad location with poor access. The menu was pricey for average food. There is not nearly enough eateries in the Papillion/ La Vista area. Just fast food, b...
