Re: Hotels/Motels that Allow Pets

I know the Sleep Inn on Abbott Drive between the airport and downtown also allows pets and would definitely be cheaper than the Magnolia, if you're not too concerned with how nice it is. Might want to check that one out too.

Re: Hotels/Motels that Allow Pets

The Magnolia Hotel is a very nice full service boutique hotel downtown near the Old Market. I know they allow pets, but obviously with an added pet fee. Also has extended stay suites available with small kitchens etc. Generally a bit on the pricey side, but it all comes down to how busy the place is...

Re: Creighton Basketball 2015-2016

I agree that they can go against almost anyone, especially after this year and gaining some of the new players. Their athleticism has grown leaps and bounds in the past few years. I think Groselle is the last of the MVC recruited players. One thing Creighton always seems to have a leg up on is play...

This is the only other thing I can remember seeing. Obviously old and plans change, but kind of gives you an idea of what UNMC have in mind as far as future growth and Saddle Creek realignment.

Re: Downtown parking update?

I have to agree. It's absolutely ridiculous to drive or walk through downtown and see so many massive stand alone garages and surface lots. I'm specifically thinking of the stretch of Howard between 13th and 18th. YES, I know the garages service OPPD, the Orpheum, and the Old Market...but on the nor...

Creighton student here. Obviously spend more time in Omaha, but until I graduate and find a permanent residence/job here, I'd still have to call Madison, WI home.

As a fan who closely follows the badgers (I grew up in Madison) I can honestly say I'm a little nervous for this game. I think it will be closer than a lot of people think. Both teams are having a bit of a down year...The Wisconsin D looks really solid, but we are without our top RB, top tight end, ...

I couldn't agree more. Pretty much every urban residential project lately has been full up or near full by the official move in date. Even the large projects like the Highline and the Wire had absolutely no problem occupying their units. As jobs continue to move toward downtown (HDR, all the UNMC de...

In addition, I know the Residence Inn and Hotel Deco downtown both have valet, as does Sullivan's Steakhouse. I think there is more around than meets the eye, but mostly at downtown hotels. It would be interesting to see someone give it a shot around the Old Market so locals could get in on the acti...

As a former Creighton student, I lived on 31st and Cass for a year, and have had many friends live in Gifford park all throughout college. I live there now, though more toward Midtown Crossing. My observation is that the transformation of this neighborhood is dependent on the type of landlords and o...

Last summer I moved and was looking into apartments downtown. It was frustrating as someone w...
