It looks like they took a 1960's design, but to try to make it look different, they took a wedge out of the bottom corner. I'm not impressed. Completely agree with this opinion. Not impressed. Re: HDR Aksarben Office

I think what really turned me off the downtown option was the north side of the building and the gigantic parking facility that rose up nearly half of the building. Because that design sucked too. It seems Omaha doesn't know how to hide the parking garages in 1.either the CENTER of the block or hav...

Well, we may get that "urban" Hyvee or whatever like everyone wanted. The more I look at the plan, the more I just see a lot of wasted space, but it'll serve its purpose if it actually includes the items they are hoping to include. If they move the state offices there, doesn't that free u...

I think it should be called: The Lake that should have been built to accommodate larger boats. Also, anyone else notice that when Zorinksy was built, it was built so that houses could get closer to the water, while today it seems that all of our lakes are built with larger park areas surrounding them.

Yes, yes it did! I think the building should be torn down. A new 8-10 story one put up, and half of the land sold, which would help pay for some of the construction costs.

Lot B in Minneapolis. One side you have the Guthrie Theater and on the other you have the new US Bank Stadium.

See, Put a Parking Garage in the middle of the development and let the buildings rise around it.
