I guess I did not vote out of protest...........It is outrageous that Runza and Broncos would be included on any list of good places to get a hamburger. Crazier still is that some banana voted for Runza. :? Actually, Runza burgers are not that bad, really. I always think of Broncos as kind of a McD...

Hmmmm ... Looking at that drawing, they are building the thing right next to the runways. ????? I would think that if they want a rental car center, they would do as most other airports are doing and get it away from the immediate terminal and runway area. Might that location preclude future termina...

Note to the ethically challenged- If you are selling or promoting or even using a robo-dialer you pretty much are a low life scum bag. Back in those days a competing agency did take Mort up on an in-house demo of one of those machines. (I was told this first hand by someone at that agency.) This wa...

Southwest has 6 non-stop flights daily to MDW from OMA through August. 0520, 0740, 1150, 1350, 1830, 2010.
...
September - October, 4 flights

Well, that answers it. I'm very sure in previous years I've caught a mid-morning SW flight.

All signs seem to point to Mort. When you said "auto call" I knew it had to be Mort. (The first time I crossed paths with Mort, I was working for an ad agency and he was trying to sell us robo-dialers. This was decades ago.) Looking at the web site, if you didn't know it was Mort, you did...

I don't understand why "Jeopardy!" airs on WOWT and "Wheel" on KETV. The only time they were both on the same station was back in the late 80's/early 90's when they aired on KMTV. Those are now both syndicated shows, as opposed to network shows. They will appear in most major ma...

Re: Man Dragged Off Plane in Chicago

I don't have all of the details for sure, but this situation was handled very poorly. As a semi-frequent flier, United is probably my least favorite of the major airlines to fly. Yes, they have great coverage and they usually get you there in one piece and more or less on time, but when things go wr...

Southwest flies 6x daily to Midway during the Summer and a few other busy periods of the year, otherwise it's been 5x daily during past several years during slow times. I believe this year they did drop down to 4x daily in January on off days this past year. Going forward, schedule looks consistent...

As far as I remember, those markings have been at B15-B19…maybe I'm wrong. I don't know, I was not really paying attention to the numbers. One thing I do find kind of amusing is that one flight I take semi-frequently to Chicago seems to always take off a B-17 in Omaha and land at B-17 at Midway. :)
