Its possible that TD Ameritrade is expanding, but now that this news story is out...it might be more likely that the work could be for KVC. http://www.ketv.com/news/21976627/detail.html A behavioral services organization plans to relocate its regional headquarters to Omaha and create 180 new jobs in...

Took the wife Friday night for the first time. I agree and would have hoped they could have moved into the old Valentino's location, but ho hum. Especially since next door opening soon (?) is Johnny's Catina. And judging by its name, it will likely just be a bar. The food was pretty good. Pizza was ...

I am not sure how much $ Children's gets from the state/feds, but I do know that this expansion has been on the books for close to 5 years now. I also am understanding that most of this expansion is for the Audiology dept. which just happens to be close to my heart. (So possible bias there). But non...

Re: Jimmy John
True, I have yet had a bad experience from Jimmy John's on 17th and broadway, so I can only hope that they get much much better. Mainly, because they are closer to home, etc. I did have one bad experience once, a year or so ago, from JJ near the corner of Dodge and 72nd street. But, I think it was m...

Zoo Landscape Cleaning
I was at the zoo this morning, and the wooded area between the '5 Senses Zen Garden' and the Gorilla House & Bird sanitary is getting a makeover. The area was a blight to say the least. The overgrown trees and shrubs, etc. made for a very unpleasant sight. And the pavement between the two areas ...

What I know, or what I think you are asking about - are the senior housing/apartment building next to the 'senior center'. The builders were hoping to find a non-profit to obtain grants to off-set some of the construction costs. But I do not believe they found a taker. So I think they are now trying...

Breadeaux Pizza
After leaving Council Bluffs, for unknown reasons, Breadeaux Pizza is finally going to come back. They put up a couple of adds in the paper looking for hires; IE cooks, managers, drivers, etc. Many might remember their old location on the corner of 8th St and Broadway, which happened to be north of ...
