Re: Omaha Hotel (24th and Farnam)

The expansion in the number of hotel rooms in Omaha will ultimately increase the supply of hotel rooms, leading to a decline in the average cost of a hotel room in Omaha. I believe we are witnessing the birth of a major city!!

Re: Omaha Alternatives Analysis

I like the concept as it will provide excellent connectivity to the city. Once Metro implements a few north-south express routes, this could greatly benefit commuters. As you could park and ride or drive into the center of the city. The Plan connects all major commercial areas of Downtown, Midtown, ...

I spoke to a lady there.   Anyway she said it was taking longer than expected because they are reconfiguring the tower so that took some time.  Don't worry it will have the same height, but will contain two less condos per floor.

I think those numbers are correct, because all three times I went to Tulsa, it was dead every time after 5 pm.  It reminded me of "I am Legend"

OKC does have a little more activity, but it didn't seem as vibrant as Omaha.

I think that this arena was planned far too early.  What Metro Areas of 1.2 million and less have two large arenas and convention centers.  This will only hurt the two cities in the long run.  As stated on page one, I picture Lincoln and Omaha as one city, with the Qwest as the staple arena.
