This could have something to do with the Ramada becoming a Red Lion. Their remodel calls for a wave pool. The Publix full size grocery store in downtown Ft. Lauderdale has an attached parking garage. You park above the store. The escalators are special belts that catch the specially made wheels on the shopping carts. It's actually pretty cool.

One thing that is not being addressed with the street rail prospect is that even if you never use it, you still benefit.
