Re: Death Penalty in NE

Considering the difficulty of finding lethal injection drugs, and other potential complications like not being able to locate suitable veins, the next evolution in capital punishment seems to be nitrogen asphyxiation. Some states are already developing procedures for such a method. If it goes smoot...

I've noticed a huge increase in the number of panhandlers within the last year. They're everywhere.

Go to Saddle Creek & Cuming. There are always at least 4 of them there. It's amazing.

I've got a nephew who sold his house very recently (they close soon). He lives near Benson High School. Sold it in 1 day, for $11,000 over asking price. I'd say that's a Sellers' Market!

50% Trumps seriously on the ropes about now and the hits keep coming...........hes got a 50/50 chance of finishing the term at best. I'm saying he goes the full 4 years and gets re-elected. Hey - gimme a break. The fact that he was elected in the first place defies all odds. Re-election couldn't be...

I noticed this morning as I went by that there was a construction trailer and earth mover next to a new driveway. Maybe something is finally happening there. Meanwhile the gas station on the corner still hasn't opened. I too live in that area, and just noticed that - after a couple years of nothing...

Thanks guys!

I ended up posting them in the FREE section of Craigslist. Several people called about them, and the first one came & got them. Go figure!

Disposing of Concrete Chunks

We're working on one of our our kids' back yards, which includes tearing up some crappy old sidewalk.

Is there anywhere in Omaha that I can haul the random chunks of concrete, for disposal? I'm hoping for free, but open to whatever.

Ideas? Thanks!

I don't think that corner on 72nd & Maple was ever anything but leverage & blackmail material for CVS. They used it to pressure the City into letting them build on 49th & Dodge, and now they're doing nothing with it.

What's really frustrating is that this punk who got shot KNOWS who shot him. 4 punks in a silver car started shooting at 4 punks in a red car. This is not just some random thing.

Any restaurant that refuses to post their prices, is going to be unnecessarily spendy. People will only pay for trendy and expensive if the food is really awesome.

No, Nikko is a black. The fact that he is a life-long criminal is beside the point. He's a victim, and Ernie has all kinds of time for this guy!

I always park at the library and its always lit up and almost never full.  8) Which is why you park there. Very smart. I'm not sure why there aren't some simple, easy solutions being looked at. Go to Westroads Mall, and you're apt to park 3 blocks from the building, then walk 3-4 blocks once in the...

Jane's should work-out a deal with the Alegent Clinic to their south to share or lease a few spaces from their parking lot. That clinic could add more parking south of their building too. Not that the neighbors to the south would approve...and nobody really wants to create more surface parking lots...

Apparently the owners of Jane's have put their space on the market.  Saying they will lease it out to someone else if parking doesn't change.  Seems like the easiest solution would be to take out the mini 16th street concept on the side of their building and add a handful more parallel spaces. http...

Saddle Creek WalMart

Hey guys, a couple questions about that new WalMart being built just north of Dodge on Saddle Creek. Have they announced when it is going to be open?
