You can see Springfield from the construction site, but the sign on the corner at NE-50 reads "Papillion Data Center". Sigh. Papillion city limits are just west of Springfield (see the map I just posted) hence, closer to the Data Center. Springfield had a lot to say about that annexation,...

South Sioux--New Hotel

Delta, a newish imprint of Marriott, originally a Canadian chain. Right on the river, must be a new development that I hadn't heard of. Might be worth a overnight.

Not downtown, but my favorite street is John Galt Boulevard. It's named after a fictional character from Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged whose life apparently isn't going anywhere. Anyone else been to a Buc-ee's? They're a hoot--and they print money. Daughter and son-in-law are stationed at Ft. Hood and I frequent the one in Temple. About 120 gas pumps and they're all hopping!

I am surprised that the OWH didn't pick this up but InfoUSA/InfoGroup in Papillion was sold again. Their current owners CCMP entered into a sales agreement with Court Square Capital that should close March 31st. I guess this was officially announced yesterday.
