Yes, construction speeds up in warmer weather, as contractors don't have to wait for warm enough days for pouring concrete, framing, etc. They will work through some of the coldest weather, but if they need to pour concrete they will be slowed by frigid temperatures.

It would be great to see a more robust downtown skyline, I think a lot of people in Omaha would love to see that. I really think that TD Ameritrade should have been downtown, contributing to the skyline and the bustling feel.

I would think that a place like Pulp would find a better home at a place with more foot traffic, or better parking. If they design this right it could be a sweet setup for small start-ups. I think one of the biggest benefits for small business will be the relatively close quarters with other businesses and the opportunities for collaboration and creative problem solving that start-ups are known for.
