There are fewer moving parts & vibrations on an EV, so they're likely to last longer and lower maintenance cost, because they'll need fewer repairs than cars with combustion engines.

Speaking of this, I heard Hyvee is looking at sites downtown for something similar to their downtown DSM store. No clear location... That HyVee in Downtown Des Moines is great. We can't get it in Omaha soon enough! I second that, living in Des Moines, I've been to the downtown Hy-Vee several times....

They are rehabbing the building to the south plus the Dakota Title building will be done next. I agree 100%, this place is charming and the food is bomb. Many of their recipes that I've had including the fish and the salsas are actually Mexican. I'm not sure if it's still open late, but I used to go there after a night of partying.

I'm very excited to hear about this. Only 10 short years ago wind energy was seen as something only hippies were interested in. Now it's good business! Soon Nebraska will once again have some of the cheapest electricity in the country. I would love it if someday, the city allowed quiet wind turbines...

I flew into the Quad Cities airport and their terminal area, albeit small was gorgeous. It was airy, full of huge windows with nice views of the runways. Eppley could learn something from the brightness of the space. It's much better than the tan bricks that we have.

I suspect there's a lot of investment going into hayneedle now that Walmart is trying to build up their online business to compete with Amazon. I ordered from hayneedle a few years ago, and it was a very good experience. I'm happy to see they're doing well.
