Kudos to Iowa State for being willing to come play UNO tonight at Baxter. Iowa State will likely win the match easily, but will lose some RPI points. It's a no win for them. Hopefully Creighton and NU will be willing to add UNO soon.

This year's month long Grand Prix volleyball tournament was completed this morning. Brazil beat the USA 3-2 for the gold medal in Bangkok, Thailand.

My wife and I stopped there on our way back from a ski trip to Colorado in March. It was the first time I saw the lake since the early 90's and I was pretty amazed at how big is looks now. My wife commented that it looks like a sea.

The bridge fits with the Iowa side much more naturally than with the Nebraska side. It's nice having another choice for some more authentic style Chinese food that is not so far from midtown. Another cool place that has real Japanese snacks and Chinese drinks is Thirst Tea at Midtown Crossing.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think that Creighton played particularly well last night, they just played a team that is inept on offense. One interesting twist is that this team probably can no longer qualify for the NIT, but still has a chance to qualify for the NCAA tourney. Why would they no longer qualify for the NIT? Correct me if I am wrong, but any team that doesn't make the NCAA tournament has a chance to qualify for the NIT ...
