So recent news out of NYC gives me even more pause. A brand new luxury supertall residential building in Brooklyn is being foreclosed on because it hasn’t sold enough units https://www.curbed.com/article/9-dekalb-brooklyn-tower-foreclosure-default-michael-stern.html that building is great looking

Heard something quite interesting and exciting about a LEGO store in Omaha - that's from a very reliable source. 😁 Not sure if it's intended for public knowledge at this point in time but let's just say I think there will be many pleased people in the Omaha area later this year! Would an assumption...

there is some heavy machinery onsite under the approach on the iowa side. Even a gravel road that leads towards the trees. I was there yesterday. I should have taken more pics, but it looks like they cleared a lot of trees/foilage and created trails or something. https://i.postimg.cc/5XGfnyzb/IMG20...

Re: Mutual of Omaha Tower (14th & Farnam)
I went back and looked at a couple of dates with street view photos: 3/17: 8 floors 3/24: 9 floors 4/7: 11 floors So looking at this probably a little quicker than we thought, maybe about 7-8 days per floor. (the floors I posted would be the one they are working on or basically the one under the ye...

Not my photo but yes they did go up another floor yesterday evening: https://i.postimg.cc/Z0J92kLx/IMG-3951.png doing rough math here. If they ascend a floor every two weeks, they should reach floor 44 around July 10, 2025 (and I have no idea how tall each floor is or what the actual height is now,...

First and foremost I think this is great. That being said, and I hate to be that guy, but anyone else surprised this will be $175 million and only add a net 40k sq feet? I know inflation and construction costs have increased, but the whole thing arena/convention center was built for $291 million. A...

It's insane how people seem to know very little about Nebraska. So much misinformation in this video alone (just as an example). Omaha is not the "Capital". Denver is not the closest international airport (among other things I'm sure): https://youtu.be/Irkzt2F2w0A?si=-GRJZROUAYTcQn54 I ag...

I was at hy-vee on Sunday, and they were selling 73/23 ground beef at 2/$9 (i don't buy that, but it shows how expensive even the fatty stuff is). 93% is almost $7 a pound. Part of your problem is, you were going to Hyvee. They are so high on everything. Right now you can get a 3lb roll of 80% at B...

super saver and fareway have had bacon on sale a lot lately. Their strategy worked to get me in the door; i ended up walking out with other stuff i didn't really need.
