There are a lot of questionable placements, which leads me to believe that even though this is a WORLD cities list, they took into consideration the importance/status of a city within its country. For instance, Sydney and Toronto both being placed above Chicago. It's still an interesting grouping o...

I was in the new Blair Memorial Hospital today when they had their tornado warning test. Their alarm was very light - I could have slept through it - I don't know if this is a good thing or not. The sirens are not designed to alert folks indoors. Â I recommend purchasing a weather radio with SAME t...

Channel 7
Agree completely with Coyote...Channel 7 knocked it out of the park with their coverage. Shame on the others. A wise investment is a weather radio with Specific Area Message Encoding (SAME) technology that allows you to set it to a specific county for alerts/warnings. They typically beat the sire...

Wal-Mart Strip Mall - 84th Street, La Vista
I'm hearing that Summer Kitchen is moving (vicinity of Cabella's) due to being told that their stay in the strip mall would be finite, that it would be razed in its entirety at some future date. Â Anyone have an inkling what's up? Â Thanks...

We finally made it to the Chicago Dawg House today and were NOT disappointed! Â We can personally vouch that the traditional Chicago Dawgs and the Chili/Cheese Dawgs - they were great.
