Now there is reports of people going door to door in CB telling people that they must evacuate NOW.  Covered on Ch7 news tonight.  I am sure the logic behind this is more than a practical joke.  Some people are just SICK!!! I thought they were telling them to get out then robbing their house... LOL

River update.

As of 3PM today.

The current release from Gavin's Point is now 120,000CFS.
Tomorrow the release goes up to 130,000CFS.
And then 150,000CFS by June 16th.

Thanks for the info and link. I believe a lot of high-tonnage cargo (eastbound coal) runs through Omaha-Council Bluffs because the bridge at Blair can't handle the axle weights. It isn't just single track but also the bridge strength - the loaded coal trains but more strain on a bridge than double-...

Blair Sub Double Tracking.

For some time now. The Union Pacific has been working on preparing grading work for a second main track across three county's.  There from Missouri Valley to Fremont. Isn't the city going to fix it anytime soon? There's one backhoe on the sight, but as of today at 5:00, sunny, beautiful weather no one was anywhere near.
