I feel like "University of Omaha" could sound big-time.  Look at all the other large universities that use the city name in them... NYU, Pittsburgh, Tulsa, Louisville, Cincinnati, etc.

I agree that NU won the game statistically... there isn't much arguing there.  My only point is that the ISU defense doesn't deserve to be short-changed by people stating that NU gave the game to them.

I love the fact that they are going to have all the runs open all the time.  That is one of the things that has always driven my nuts about Mt. Crescent... almost every time I go out there, there are only 2 runs open.

I'm in agreement with garyomaha.  Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the streetcar system, but we don't want to get ahead of ourselves.  We don't want to pull another "480 interchange" where we have bridges to nowhere and then have to rip them out years down the road!

Even if the stadium does sit empty all year except for those 2 weeks, how's this any different from the hundreds of college football stadiums around the country??? I've been in there twice since they opened.  It's a night and day difference from what it used to be.   They have pretty good food and a ton of flat panel TVs to watch sports on.  They also have a DJ booth/dance floor and are building a patio out back.  I recommend checking it out if you haven't...

I recall jogging past there one night a couple years ago and seeing a woman/stripper walk out that weighed about 90lbs and had 2-3 teeth.  I'm guessing she was dancing to help supply a drug addiction.  Pretty nasty!

Haunted Hallow on 120th and Giles is pretty good.  It's in a creepy old farm house.  I would say that this is one of the best in the area.

I went down and checked it out last night.  There were a ton of people out enjoying the nice weather.  The fountain is really neat to see at night.  If you're planning to go see it, I would suggest heading down there right around dusk.

I've ate there several times. It is very good, and the prices are reasonable. They atmosphere is also nice.

I would recommend trying the pork tenderloin if you decide to eat there.
