Re: I-680 Invington area, NW Omaha - new neighborhoods, etc.
I live in Deerwood. It's not hard to get around town. The exit off Potter can be tricky during rush hour, I would suggest taking State Street where there's a light instead. I don't mind living here now, I'm wondering if the new Celebrity subdivision will bring more retail or just congestion. There's...

Re: Cherry Hills Village (I-680 and Blair High Rd)
This Starbucks will cause a traffic problem there. Especially when the Celebrity development starts filling in and exits off Potter or that light. There is currently no plan for a light on Potter and Hwy 133. Phase 1 is over 300 homes. They have been doing traffic studies but... Might be time to mo...

It looks like there's some more dirt moving around again closer to Blair High, anyone know what might be being built?

Re: Rosati's Pizza - West Maple
In perusing their web site, it says Rosati’s is actually known for “Chicago’s greatest thin crust pizza”.. Although they do a deep dish, it looks like the priority pizza on their menu is thin crust.. Interesting twist from what most would think is a Giordano’s type deep dish pizza place.. Perhaps t...

New Fast Food 135th & Q in Millard?
Anyone know what's going in. I didn't see a "coming soon" sign but something is under construction. Almost every fast food is represented along Q so the hubs and I were stumped as to what it could be. We're thinking Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts.

What's a good place for this? We had this done on my husband's car right after we moved here and were not impressed with the job that was done. He now needs a new one. New or used, replace on site or have to take it in, either's fine. We're willing to drive for a good price and quality work. Not sur...

We drive back to Chicago 1-2+ times a year. We've flown, but it can get pricey. I'd be all for a high speed rail, or heck a regular speed rail that was cheaper. Even if I had to go to Council Bluffs. I'm from the Chicago area. Born there, lived 30 years in the suburbs, not in the city proper though. Hoping to move back soon. In addition to population another HUGE difference is that 60 miles outside of the city, you're still in well populated areas. 60 miles outside of Omaha, you might as well be...

I actually do prefer local restaurants. I just haven't found a whole lot that I actually really like. About a month or so ago I saw that the building north of Chili's and just south of that medical building had been torn down. The best steak I've had since we moved here was at Omaha Prime in the Old Market. It's deeeelllllisssssshhhhhous. Melt in your mouth and oh-so-tender. However, it's pricey.
