The new Husker plates clearly didn’t go through any sort of real-world testing before going to production. The plates are nearly impossible to read from 20 feet out. Looking at that third picture, that doesn't look too safe with the safety railings on those platforms. Looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Look again and closer this time. There is netting tightly fit in all,the open areas. Can't tell if it is wire or some rope type but sure looks safe to me. M...

I guess I don't see much of a need for a permanent one and I am not sure that they ever really committed to one either. Bring in a screen for a few Husker games, the NCAA tourney when its in town the Swim Trials and the CWS. The rest of the time they wont need it at all. Not like we have a pro team...
