The development will open beginning this fall. That's also when Farnam Street will switch to two-way traffic and have the diagonal, metered parking added.

According to WOWT, the
acting Mayor and City Council President Gary Mixan issued a statement saying, "Mayor Ed Babbitt was a longstanding leader in our community. He was also very dedicated to his family and church. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family."

Well the Liquor Commission's site says the cancellation of their license is temporarily lifted...either because of a request for rehearing or because it was stayed by the courts

But Im curious to know what type of disturbance they had and didn't do anything about to get it cancelled...

I heard that starting this year, the NWS started doing more specific warning for sirens, and only the sirens in the warning area will sound.....except for Douglas and Sarpy counties, because there are so many people in these counties and something channel 6 is good for: http://www.wowt.com/home/head...

and from what Ive heard, southport is most likely going to happen but a year or two later than originally planned; and I wont be surprised if ticket prices go up later this summer

actually i work at one of the Marcus theaters in town, and everyone's morale there is beyond low; partly because of those uniforms which are hotter than heck but mainly because Marcus doesnt really seem to respect or care about the employees that much (at least our marcus manager doesnt) and i've he...
