Re: Area NW of Saddlecreek at Pacific Street

I see they added more parking spaces, the same amount of apt units. Danny Begley didn't even seem confident in any retail. Also they sure spun this story in a positive manner. This area is not very walkable and the new 48th/Saddle Creek/Leavenworth planned updates don't really address this. I'm all ...

Re: Apartments on Pacific between 48th & Saddle Creek

The design is bland and overdone for the area. 48th to Saddle Creek to Pacific is already confusing and bad enough for most drivers. I'm right off 48th/Pacific and I can easily see the parking extending to the Masonic Lodge off 48th/Pierce which is for the most part empty except some weekend nights....

It boggles my mind that HDR, an architectlure firm, can't figure out how/where to build its own HQ. Anything in West O would be a blow. Aksarben Village would be an awful place for this, read above. In regards to MTC, this might seem silly but I think more high rises in MTC would turn Omaha into a m...

That's basically a part of the "Wicket Rabbit." Inside there is a liquor/cigar store and you have to ask for hidden door to Wicked Rabbit.

This bar is now open. I know this has been discussed under Hotel Deco. A friend of mine visited the place the other night, apparently it has some secret door? I might check it out tonight.

Looks like Tulsa is attempting the Twister tower. It sure is a lot better then Omaha's original design but a little too flashy.
