They jumped up over night about 13-15 cents. The news said the jump might have been from OPEC saying 'might' cut production ---  sounds like a fear-rate.

yes they could but some don't choose to.  I have know hetero couples that have lived together for 10+ yrs and have no interest in legally getting married. Plus that didnt answer my question but according to j4nu it sounds like some companies do allow partners to have benefits.

dress in layers.  Feet won't let me run any more but I have run in below zero temps. In high school we didn't put on long sweat pants or lined wind pants until it was below 32 degrees, but when it was chilly  I always had long sleeves --- like a long sleeve turtleneck and a stocking cap on when i ran.
