Re: Danny's Bar and Grill

From a post on Omaha Food Lovers on Facebook, Danny's has now closed. Also in those comments, the Wayside tavern has also closed. His daughters ran it until last July when they sold it to the current owner. Reopening Aug 8th as the Oky Doky Diner and Lounge. https://m.facebook.com/110687185066983/

Choices are slim. Used to listen to Jack & Fred on Lite 96 or Rockett on 98.5. The few times I tried TnT, their humor wasn't so much.

I work in the area. The 30th st store has been undergoing remodeling a couple months. Signing is finished, new paint. Basically looks the same inside. Shelving realignment pretty much.

Do we know for sure that this is this is owned by the same people as the Okoboji one? Pretty sure it's not. The Okoboji donut shop is owned by Brent Wyman, I believe. At one time, I believe Spudnuts was a national chain, but it's gone out of business. Now it's just a bunch of independent donut shop...

This Starbucks will cause a traffic problem there. Especially when the Celebrity development starts filling in and exits off Potter or that light. There is currently no plan for a light on Potter and Hwy 133. Phase 1 is over 300 homes.

If Chambers has interacted and thinks he can be worked with, I think Gonzalez is a pretty solid choi...

Since 2018, Kwik Shop has been owned by EG Group. They’ve been opening stations in Kansas where they were cobranding with places like Taco Johns and Sbarro. Taco John’s seems unlikely since they are already here, but I suppose Sbarro is possible. I believe Jeff Bremer holds the franchise rights for...

Back in the 80s when I worked for Bob Edwards they said at orientation that 24th was the first. Whoever did that prep was wrong I guess. I wasn't sure if 80th and Dodge was the first but I knew it had to be one of the first. But I remembered the tussle between McDonalds and Eli Schupack in the 70s....
