They are building a dedicated swimming arena to be used once every 4 years for the Olympic Swim Trials. The city is taking on 2 billion in new bond debt to finance. Announcement coming soon.

No more floors on the apartment building. They have started adding a half height parapet wall on the northwest corner.

So it looks like it is 12 floors from the northwest corner and 11 floors from Capital street. One floor of retail and 10 floors of apartments.

That would certainly be a prominent position with a high rise on the top of that hill. That has to be one of the highest points in the City. Traffic would be interesting because you could access that site from the northend and go east or west with access to 90th or to Blondo. However there is no way...

I drove by last week and they were working on the interior it looked like they were loading drywall into one of the windows on a middle floor. There was no external work being done. They don't seem to be on a very aggressive timetable.

It looks like construction on the second building has begun. When I drove by today they were digging on the other end of the block on the site of the mixed use apartment building.
