The Omaha-Lincoln combined CSA population is now 1,335,072 per the latest 2018 US Census.. Many of us believe Omaha-Lincoln should be combined. But the US Census in Washington doesn’t recognize it yet. At this point, perhaps they never will.. But this illustrates that the Omaha/Lincoln areas functio...

The Omaha CSA grew quite nicely from 969,011 officially in 2017 to 978,989 in 2018.. Lincoln’s CSA grew to 356,083 for 2018.. The tables are out now-

Additional numbers-

Including Dodge County, the 2018 Omaha CSA estimate clocked in at 978,989.. only about 21,000 away from the 1 million mark..

The Lincoln metro estimate for 2018 is 334,590..

More data to come as the information is released by all media outlets...

Well, the 2018 Omaha estimate for the metro clocked in at 942,198 adding 9,981 over the 2017 estimate (which is higher than the 9100 added last estimate).. The last year I attended this concert series was 2010- That year Kansas, Styx and Foreigner played Memorial Park. It was a great show..

Since then, the music lineups have just not garnered much interest to me. So much so in 2018, I even forgot the concert event actually happened...

a nice thunderstorm is on its way. At least the timing of it is looking good. I don't want to get too excited about it, though the 7pm-10pm range is great.
