Re: PBA and Hockey (split thread)
There is a huge difference between the Civic and the PBA when it comes to hockey. I'm not sure how the comparison can even be made, but sure? I guess we will see down the road how it is.

Looking at the size of this property, I think it's going to be multiple buildings that may be low rise mixed with some mid range height.

Scott Court is already built there. http://www.hba1.com/projects/housing/uno_scott_court/Scott-Court-01_lg.jpg And there is an interview somewhere that the developers have said they wish they had made the park bigger. The hits just keep coming for A/V. So in addition to Pac Life we get 137 apartment units, another great office project to round out the main corner and a healthy chunk of retail. I am currently working on a project at 108th and 370. There will NOT be a straight shot from 370 to Cornhusker. Not sure the exact reasoning, but 108th would need to three bridges to cross three different creeks where 114th needs zero. So, what your saying is that I need to start building it mys...

I can address some of your questions...from what I know and observed, when they make Ice, they have to bring in a refer unit on a flatbed trailer, which is what they used to test the arena floor for ice shown in Brad's re-posted photo above. I'm told that utility connections for an on-site ice pla...

A top 3 of IU, Maryland and NU isn't a terrible conference. Certainly better than they were a few years ago. And really Illinois isn't too far off, they went down to Florida and beat the Gators twice this season. MSU, Michigan and OSU are good enough for a northern conference and Rutgers did dec...
