I talked with a rep from both of these companies. Whole Foods said they have no expansion plans as of now, but Planet Fitness does plan on coming to GI later this year.

The Royal Indian restaurant is a classy, white table cloth dining spot, featuring a lunch time buffet. The food is excellent, as good as the better places in Omaha. The only news I have heard on malls in this area has been bad news. Stalls, reduction in development, etc.. I am certain I will see the "death" of malls in my lifetime. I don't see how they can keep up with online sales.

A couple of rumors out of the rumor mill..

1) Dickeys BBQ is expanding and will build a second location.
2) Paradise Donuts will also be expanding with a second location.
3) Dunkin Donuts is looking at coming into GI.
