Re: 13th and William Revitalization
There are no lighted crosswalks between Martha and William on 13th, that's a half mile stretch. I believe they have already said that there will be no road diet here. As this part of town gets more pedestrian activity I hope they add a additional safe crosswalk or two along this stretch. People can...

Re: Area NW of Saddlecreek at Pacific Street

Will you support anything the developer presents as long as it shows functional sidewalks? I don't thi...

Re: Rumors - Soccer Stadium - Large Office - Parking Garage
I have followed lower division American soccer for roughly a decade and think Omaha is be a perfect market for the USL championship, especially since Des Moines is likely to have a team soon as well. If they committed to building this stadium it would likely be with an agreement to move up a divisio...

Man I hate to be negative on here because I really am glad something is happening here, but I don't see much special to be excited about. It feels like the least ambitious design we've seen for this area and I agree with ita and think they are already walking back the sizing. The retail focus is con...

I just remembered: the last go-round for Ralston Arena naming rights the high bidder was Limitless Male, but they decided against it for image purposes. With the Lancers struggling are they more desperate for some money? Limitless Male Arena hosting lingerie football would be very on brand.

Re: Maverick Landing - Ramada redevelopment (72 & Grover)
The property is well situated to become a nice, dense development. Of course we’ve all said that for the past 10 years about Crossroads… I think the property is well situated, but based on what we have seen so far it is looking like a bit of a missed opportunity for increased density. Lots of parki...

That's interesting as the Heartland Marathon is coming up in 3 weeks and that portion of the trail makes up like half of the course. I can second complaints about how rough the management is on employees. And how poorly they take care of their properties. That parking lot is pretty small for a gas station too. They're not a good neighbor, I would hope this doesn't come to fruition.
