DH has been getting some interviews,   Ok not to get off topic but what does DH mean? I keep seeing that online and maybe I'm slow but I can't for the life of me figure it out. The baseball fan in me thought it meant "designated hitter" when I first saw it. It made me wonder why all of t...

it's just too far, in my opinion, for many people to attend regularly.  Right now, I'm much more prone to going to games nearer to the center of Omaha (like we have with Rosenblatt, or the new downtown stadium).  If you look at the metro as a whole, downtown is much closer to the center than South...

"What you get for the money" on HGTV feautred a house from Omaha.  They made a reference to people thinking "corn" when they hear Nebraska, but that when you get here it's not really like that.  Showed the obligatory skyline shot, old market, craftsman style homes (among others...

i heard more crackles and pops on the 2007 video, but i don't know if that's just because of the actual video not picking up as much.  Seemed like there was more high-flying stuff this year, though.  Am i right?  I didn't get to see it in person, i was blowing up stuff in my drive way.

i wonder if the world herald is some how trying to make it seem like the Royals have a 'too good to be true' kind of deal right now and that they shouldn't hold out for such a deal at the new stadium.  Like saying, "yeah, but are you really ever going to have it that good again?"  Probab...

Awesome!  We are casually looking at 500 tickets for February!  May be there will be a Chevy in the winner circle then.   I'd imagine a chevy could win in 2009.  More often than not, they usually do :)  In fact, since 1978 they have won 17 of them.  Ford has won 6, Buick 3, Oldsmobile 2, Dodge ...
