$63,000 for a Durango??? The Durango Hybrid prices start at $45,000. What the heck did he put in this thing get the price up to $63,000?!?! The most expensive options (sunroofs, navigation systems, upgraded stereos) are some of the least necessary options for a government vehicle. A Durango ...

The City is more than willing to work with developers on parking requirements. Much of the time it is the developers themselves that want the parking, not the City forcing it upon them. I'm convinced that most developers are half re...uh..mentally challenged. Most developments have many useless pa...

From what I heard Chrysler is trying to conform their methods the same way Toyota does. Toyota only has 1300 nationwide dealerships but is the most successful selling car in America, and I think Chrysler had over 2000 or something, so its only logical they close the dealers that are bleeding them....

Re: Chrysler closers
The metro looses Lithia in Omaha and Rohden in Council Bluffs. There are none total in Nebraska and 30 in Iowa. Russwood in Lincoln is a bit of a surprise to me because what I know about that dealership is that they are good to work with and seem to have a pretty good size volum. OF course who k...

Suttle doesn't seem too bright when he speaks, but his stance on issues as told from his web-site seem to imply that he has some high intentions for the city; at least more so than the tired old fixing of the pot holes and throwing more money at the schools. He wants to promote green living and gree...

Now that I live in Council Bluffs, I go jogging downtown a lot and always start (and end) my jaunts in Playland Park. Illinois' main plate has Abe Lincoln on it. Howz about Nebraska gets Gerald Ford? Eh? Eh? Johnny Carson? Henry Fonda? Make it Marlon Brando with the slogan 'Nebraska: We'll make you offers you can't refuse' and a special Omaha plate with the 311 logo along with the slogan 'Omaha stylee' and its a d...

Omaha does not need a beltway, just the other two. There's no way a ring around the city is going to help traffic going through the city as the article seems to suggest. Â A beltway would help 680 solve the problems it doesn't have. I can maybe see the need for a freeway through Sarpy County, but th...
