Re: Omaha Local News Channels
Or, it could be a cheap market and these so-called 'journalists' can't afford to park their butts here for a couple of decades. How'd you like to have gone to Mississippi State for a six-year 'broadcast meteorology' degree only to find that you're reporting on busted water mains delaying traffic on ...

What exactly is the plan for 132nd and Giles anyway? Giles east of the T-intersection was supposed to be moved south on a new bridge crossing the Pap at a shallow angle between the BNSF and the current 132nd bridge. Giles and 132nd would both be straight through at 90 degrees, leaving a hellacious ...

Does anyone listen to the afternoon radio on KFAB with Emery Songer as host? He has been on for a while now. For years, I have listed at least twice a week to the afternoon guy for a while on those days. At first, I chalked it up to having to get used to the "new guy." Don't think that is...

Lincoln should be moved out of the Hastings market and put in the Omaha market instead. When I lived in Lincoln and watched the news, it was 95% about things near Hastings. The weather was irrelevant as well. Isn’t that only the case for the nbc outlet though? If Lincoln moves into the Omaha market...

The article mentions airport access. That would be interesting. Off the top of my head, I believe Dallas has 'heavy-rail' access to DFW. They used Budd RDCs at startup, at least. Crow-flies, it looks like about 4 miles from MCI to the BNSF rail line. That's a lot of bux and NIMBY's to consider.
