Rodeway/Radisson/Quality/Days/Carlisle/Westmont Inn at 10909 M St

As I understand it the Rodeway/Radisson/Quality/Days/Carlisle/Westmont Inn at 10909 M St. is closed as well. The reviews are unbelievable. Back in the day it was a beautiful hotel & the restaurant was outstanding. That was in the 70s & early 80s.

Re: The Capitol

I'm not sure if it still exists but there was a rule or law or whatever called the "Capitol City Vista" that meant that no building could be taller than the capitol. Everywhere in the city had to have a view of the capitol. Rather limiting but it got the job done.

Look, to me this is revenue for the airport. If there is something that needs to be done that hasn't been done yet by all means do it. I can't believe that Smithey didn't do it or that there is a compelling reason why it hasn't yet happened. The revenue from flights to Toronto, Cancun, Puerto Vallar...

The only other semi rivalry I remember in my 50 years living in Nebraska was in gymnastics in the late 70s & 80s. Nebraska won a ton of trophys & sent a couple of guys to the olympics. Oklahoma was also good in that sport. During the NU/OU rivalry there was something you rarely see. No matte...

I was recently in Lincoln for a day and holy cow has it changed since my UNL days from 76-80! In those days it was really a UNL & state government town and had a small town feel to it. Between the Haymarket District, which is amazing, downtown & the campus, and the suburban developments, Lin...

NFM bought an office building on the other side of the creek from the store for back office functions. The warehouse is state of the art and is connected to the store. My thing is this: When the Leahy Mall was built there should have been one or more apartment/condo towers built overlooking the mall.
