the additional 20 or so feet really make the tower look significantly taller than RFP, so its adds to the perspective.  In reality, it was probably taller even without the cap, but now you can see that fact at first glance. There is still decorative cap to finish it off, may be another 5 feet or so...

Yeah, monorail is absolutely apples and oranges, but most of us knew that already.  Rail to the airport is definitely a good idea, but it should not be a streetcar.  Light rail, on it's own ROW faster speeds with limited stops is the way to go.
