The trouble is that the NFL would be better off starting their own developmental league from scratch than taking on the 100+ million the UFL is in the red. Â The NFDL(or whatever) would be a smarter business choice for the league it seems.

I personally would prefer it to run from August to sometime in October, like it was supposed to this year. Â That is the only dead period for sports in Omaha and the Nighthawks were filling it nicely.
