This such and amazing project.  I am still a little shocked UV took on this whole thing at once.  This is by far their largest development so far kudos to them!

The trouble is that the NFL would be better off starting their own developmental league from scratch than taking on the 100+ million the UFL is in the red.  The NFDL(or whatever) would be a smarter business choice for the league it seems.

I personally would prefer it to run from August to sometime in October, like it was supposed to this year.  That is the only dead period for sports in Omaha and the Nighthawks were filling it nicely.

Pretty great article from Entrepreneur Magazine.

The article is about how keeping and attracting the "creative class" is key to cities economies in the future and uses The Slowdown development as its main example.

One major difference between the two mentioned and Omaha's. Those two had established department stores when they converted the area to a mall.  Omaha's is going to need a courageous or ambitious(probably both) national anchor to come in and give other retail a reason to join in on the fun. I am re...

They can't get that transit center done soon enough, those bus stops attract way too many shady characters. The reverse angle parking concept is interesting as well, I can't count how many times someone has backed out in front of me on Farnam street. And it's not their fault, they can't freaking se...
