Re: Wolfson Cars Lot on Saddle Creek & Hamilton
That's a prime spot for something. Really hope it's something cool or at least useful to the neighborhood, preferably not another gas station. I would think Kum and Go (or is it Quick Trip?) and whatever it is across the street got a pretty good lock on that market.

If you have not tried their liquor you should do yourself a favor and do so. Best kept secret in the store, especially their gin. Rivals the big brands and generally cheaper. Really nice to have such good local stuff.

Exactly, and that is the whole point. I really do think this will be incredible in that regard. Just imagine a good band there on a nice night, people in the Old Market noticing the music coming over to check it out and the whole walkability factor through the Capital District to north downtown and ...

Yes, they are going to close temporarily at some point. It will be interesting to see what if any other changes are going to take place in the old parts of the museum during this time or if they are planning on using their hiatus to do some things like that. Hopefully, they don't change anything oth...

Thanks for the pic. This thing is really pretty good sized. I am no expert here so maybe someone else could speak to this but this thing looks pretty heavy duty as well. Looks like it could pretty easily accommodate some relatively extensive lighting and PA systems. Possibly some pretty decent riggi...

Yeah, the natural light in here looks like it will be incredible. Also, love the way the incorporated the Missouri river installation to run under the side of the new building and up to the center of the main structure. It ties the whole thing together really well.

Took a walk around the area and did notice they had surveying flags placed in a few locations. Also, interesting to note that the water to the river installation had been turned off and that even the heaviest of sculptures had been moved so this clearly wasn't for fun. Expecting this to get interest...

Absolutely, if possible I would love to see it remain in the area of the park as well. A beautiful new state of the art facility with a terrace view of the park would be stunning in that setting and would make for an incredible city flagship library.

So far no evidence of Baby Bob starting. Not sure how long this will take to build but I am guessing two years might be the case. Roman Coin has great pizza, too bad they couldn’t make it. Let’s get a dive bar back and put in a new 49er. If I remember right the 49er had food too did it not? Anyway, 49er 2.0 would be perfect. Throw in a shuffleboard table and a small stage and it would just be more modern and minus the clove c...

Great name for this place and stellar design. I personally don't believe this will take away from any venues in Omaha. Perfect for bands that have graduated from Sokol, Slowdown, Waiting Room size but may not otherwise sell the arenas. What an asset this will be for live music.

I think this Baby Bob will be just fine. We got to remember these are just initial renderings as well. I was thinking possibly an initial streetcar line, though I believe the article did say it was going to be a "facility" which implies a physical building more likely. The Joslyn expansion is a good guess or possibly a new Children's museum on The Riverfront.
