Much deserved project for one of the most pedestrian vibrant areas in Omaha.

If this extended route would require federal funding there would be a lot more red tape and would have to go through a lot more hurdles. I like the concept but it would have to be put on the back burner while phase 1 is completed.

I have no idea the validity of this but there were a couple posts on urbandsm stating Omaha was bussing homeless people to Des Moines. Has anyone heard anything similar to this? Demolition has begun on the 4 story portion of this building. I’m not positive what is replacing this but I’m a little concerned it is surface parking.

Similar to the W, we’re not really their type of market either..

Went to one of those in Vegas, very gimmicky and wasn’t the best food, I don’t see them lasting in Omaha long.
